This is so instructive about the reality distortion field that happens at the NYT. People inside really can't see the difference in what gets covered, and how, and how the amount of emphasis/focus changes what a story *is*. The example of the panic over trans kids is such an instructive case.

The emails that you’re seeing now are news in themselves, but that’s because of how they’re coming out—a congressional committee released them—& the context in which they’re being viewed. A guy emailing a reporter talking about old girlfriends or saying someone is “dirty” is not a whole news story.

- you can have a shut down at the end of Jan when it won’t interfere with Xmas and Thanksgiving
- House might swear in Grijalva before Dec 2 and get a vote on Epstein
- motivate Dems to get rid of leadership
Hopefully all of these happen

Yet another reminder for people reading this that Canada calculates unemployment differently than the US and the numbers cannot be compared directly
Cons are actually NOT happy about the 67,000 new jobs, as one has just stood up and said "How DARE you stand and applaud this when the US unemployment rate is 4%"

There’s no reason ever again for any Democrat to suggest moderating on trans rights. There was never a moral reason but now there’s no political reason either.
