Having studied math for 7 years, let me tell you that actuaries have to pass between 7 and 10 exams and it requires more time and work than getting a PhD. Actuaries are the ones who figure out insurance rates. If you think you are qualified to negotiate, you are wrong and you will get screwed.

Thanks to the "Big Beautiful Bill", as of Jan. 1 Roswell Park will no longer be in network for Medicare Advantage plans offered by Independent Health, Humana, or UnitedHealthcare. That's a lot of people being kicked off their cancer treatments. /1
