The most worried person you've ever met. Harmony Witch, but ultimately a failed musician. Orphan. Cook. Baker. She/Her. I prefer dogs to people.
Body in small town Wisconsin, spirit in a cabin in a very remote forest.
Just got dill in my coffee, a flavor combination I do not recommend.

This.
It was his real face, it’s just pure lizard brain contempt. It was honest. You could feel how much he wants to hurt people in how he said it

Is it though? Every single day, not hyperbole, we’re morally outraged by at least one thing he or his folks do, but my partner and I remind each other daily that there will be no consequences.
There will be no consequences.
I’ve been thinking and it’s kind of exceptional that not a single person said “Hey now” after the piggy comment.

A Molly Robison Original recipe, mostly because I wanted to have butterscotch chips around to snack on.

Butterscotch and sea salt brownies with peanut butter drizzle, which I’m hoping will dry at some point but I make no promises. 🍽️ 🍰 🍪 🥜 🍫

Literally a fist with “thoughts aren’t facts” written on it punching me in the middle of the face every 45 seconds, please.

Wow today’s gonna be so weird.

A Test, soon to be A Thing.

Making my MIL’s birthday cake this year - this is King Arthur Baking Company’s Peanut Butter-Fudge Buckeye Cake (well, half of one anyway. It’ll be two of these bitches stacked on top of one another.)

The man and I just devoured the test batch. I love her. 🥜 🍫 🍰 🍽️

An argument for always licking the spatula - I almost made this cake without sugar just now, and not for health reasons.
Bullet dodged.

The person who just rage cut me off on the road with the license plate ‘namaste’ is the reason absolutely everyone can go fuck themselves today
November 17, 2025 at 6:36 PM
This ridiculous guy in his “Clarence glasses”, as my mother called them, would’ve been 72 today.
Happy birthday, dad. Love you and miss you every day.
(I have obviously always been angry. 😅)

In today’s episode of I am completely different human being than I was three years ago:
Booze delivery guy shows up HOURS before anyone is supposed to be at the restaurant and instead of calling, he proceeds to aggressively slam on the front windows for quite a few minutes.

If you are waking up and opening your eyes today, I am fucking proud of you.
I do not understand how we’re collectively making it through this shitshow day by day.

It is journalistic malpractice to be within a city block of Vance and not read him this tweet through a bullhorn
Well, he's certainly stayed consistent on that point!

We have a new dishwasher at work who is 15 (his big brother is also a cook and one of my fav kids), and his mom came in for dinner tonight. She ordered fries for him to eat while he was working, so suddenly we just had a ticket that said, “Fries for Jesse, love, his mom.” I cried. 🥹😭

Also I had a hankering and could not continue my life until it was sated.

Split Pea Soup. @smittenkitchen.bsky.social’s recipe. ‘Tis the season. 🫛 🥣 🥓 🍽️

Yep. 👍 🍫 🍞 🍽️

I hope Senate dems enjoy their respective Thanksgivings. If nothing else, it’ll likely be an easy date for them to remember for when the citizens they’re supposed to represent started officially dying en masse from total lack of meaningful healthcare.

A 40 day shutdown for fucking absolutely nothing. Should’ve expected it.
This is not a deal — it's an empty promise.

Trump and his Republican Congress are making healthcare more expensive for the middle class and ending it for working families.

Time for Democrats to stand tall for affordable healthcare. www.politico.com/news/2025/11...
Senate reaches deal on ending the shutdown
Democrats are coalescing around a bipartisan agreement to fund the government.

I think this particular n*zi fuck is, perhaps, currently the worst human being breathing air behind only the ultimate sack of shit we all know.

Not entirely true; he did look over briefly, decided he didn’t care in real time, and THEN turned to blankly face the camera for an extended period of time like an NPC glitching out.
The Sociopath-In-Chief couldn't be bothered to even turn his head in the direction of a man in the midst of a medical emergency who collapsed in his office. Completely incapable of empathy, the EPSTEIN Files can't be released soon enough.

An observation from our current political situation: the words ‘temporarily’ and ‘permanently’ have lost all meaning. A judge can temporarily or permanently block any damn thing they want, but it won’t matter the next day. None of it means anything.

My day to be on sushi this week - it was a hard day. Mostly very soft rolls - spicy tuna/salmon/crab, which don’t have anything textural inside so they’re VERY tough to both press and cut neatly. Chef only got a little annoyed with me once (I am, in fairness, way too slow.) Lots of learning to do.

I didn’t know cakes could be this soft.

Weekly work treat: King Arthur Baking Company’s Honey Lemon Cake. Made some candied lemon peels for the top. 🍯 🍋 🍰 🍽️

She’s also giving Big Cornbread Energy for some reason, which is definitely a feature and not a bug.

Truly begging someone to teach men over the age of 60 how not to somehow take up an entire aisle of a grocery store with their body and cart alone. I got trapped THRICE in this manner today.

As with any not very good person who passes, I am sad for their family and hope they’re okay.
(I’ll be honest, for some reason I thought he had passed several years ago. 😬)
