I don’t think Billy knows how elections work. Assuming some kind of scandal wouldn’t have latched onto him like a leech, because Fianna Fáil, all he’d have probably done was split Heather’s vote. There must be something in the water at FFHQ with the deranged sense of entitlement they seem to have

I think the two episodes of season two of #Fallout might so far actually be better than all of the last season. Really digging deep into the lore of the game while expanding more than they could through that medium.

These places deserve our business. Sitar in Dundalk has also done this for the last number of years.

Good, important work and absolutely fascinating.
A conservation ecologist who is in charge of logging each native seed in Ireland has described the project as like "Noah's Ark" for plants - a vault for renewal after ecological disasters

More illegal settlements. Israel continues with impunity. I fucking hate this world.
Israel's security cabinet has approved the establishment of 19 new settlements in the occupied West Bank, a move the country's far-right finance minister said was aimed at preventing the establishment of a Palestinian state.

The expansion of Israeli settlements in the West Bank – which are illegal under international law – had reached its highest level since at least 2017.

It’s crazy to think how much power that one little village in Co. Kerry, near the border with Cork, has over this entire country because of that family. When have they ever been on the right side of history?
How does millionaire dynasty politician Micheal Healy rae still get away with his ridiculous thatch roof rural drag performance?

Yeah well that’s just one of the things that happens when you’re let the right wing away with spreading misinformation.

When you it your family are immunocompromised, your prospective will differ. That’s why I’ve got all the vaccines they’ll give me.
The Government is “worried” about the number of people who are not vaccinated against flu, Fine Gael minister Patrick O’Donovan has said.

It comes as the latest figures show a 49% jump in confirmed flu cases in the space of a week.

Has anyone reached out to Jack Chambers to see what the view is like from under that bus?

Ah I’m sure he’ll be okay. It’s Fianna Fáil, after all.

What a load of dog-whistley nonsense. Fuck Keir Starmer. Every day, he finds new ways to disappoint.

Im not a vegan, or even a vegetarian, but he’s absolutely right. It’s a solution in search of a problem and assuming people are more stupid than they are (mostly).

I also prefer vegan sausage rolls to real ones so what way will they be marketed?

There’s a lot of chat about Tarantino on here this morning

I’m glad people (on this app) are coming to realise how much of a hack Tarantino is. Never before has a film director exhibited more "well, ackshuallllly..." energy than he, and we're all meant to pretend his opinion is fucking gospel?

Only heard about Steve Cropper’s passing this morning. I grew up listening to his unmistakably clean, simple but hook-filled riffage backing Stax artists and Booker T & the MGs. Probably one of the hardest working musicians in the business. Still love his work.

What could possibly go wrong?
More than 100 gardaí are to be given taser guns as part of a new six-month pilot project.

The Justice Minister says frontline gardaí currently have "limited tactical options" in potentially violent encounters and tasers will be a "less-lethal" tool to help them. jrnl.ie/6890691

This sounds ominous. Here’s hoping for the best possible news to come from this.
Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious collision involving a bus and other vehicles in Co Meath.

Multiple people are feared dead after the crash, which occurred shortly after 6.30am this morning on the R132 near Gormanstown
