I love jesus parables like this, because you get the point: don't wait too long. But it also sort of undermines itself with the odd message that you shouldn't share what you have, because you could run out. Also, polygamy, lmao.

Stopped buying weed for the last 4 months. My license had expired and I was kinda too lazy to go get it renewed. Seemed like a nice chance to walk and use the bus more, and see if I'd miss the weed. I kinda did, but not often or in a troubling way. Just an occasional late night "man it'd be nice rn"

rent going up 50 dollars, they're asking to sign a new lease. Annoying, but when they started doing repairs this summer, i was kinda worried they were selling the place. So at least i don't have to deal with the whole "soft eviction" thing landlords like to do around here by swapping property.

being a bowling league as a kid was awesome because it was like an anti-sport. Every saturday morning, i'd go bowl 3 games, order a mountain dew in one of those textured plastic cups. Sometimes i'd even get fries or onion rings. Afterwards, i'd go to the arcade and play Tekken 3 or Gauntlet Legends.

One time I was at the bowling alley, I had an order of french fries. I got up to bowl and when i got back, Ezra Klein was there, eating my french fries. I said "Hey those are my french fries" and he shrugged and with his mouth still full of fries said one word: "Abundance".
