I used BlueArk to transfer all of my content from X. It worked great!

I haven't found Soledad Galli on bsky yet, but agree. Great content!
Feature engineering is crucial in Machine Learning because high-quality features help models capture underlying patterns more effectively, improving accuracy, reducing overfitting, and enabling better generalization to unseen data.

That's such a simple yet great idea for a reference book for any machine learning person.

The first pages look very promising, I love the visuals for the metrics:

Naming conventions will make your code base 2x more readable overnight.

In Python:

• THIS_IS_A_CONSTANT
• ThisIsAClass
• this_is_a_function
• this_is_a_variable

It's really hard to read someone else's code when they don't follow conventions, so don't be that person.

EDA is fun!
Exploratory Data Analysis is so much cooler when you understand why you're doing it and having the right statistical knowledge to help navigate the process.

You'll stop plotting random graphs and stuff! 😂😂

Data Science is cool as hell man!

Interested in machine learning in science?

Timo and I recently published a book, and even if you are not a scientist, you'll find useful overviews of topics like causality and robustness.

The best part is that you can read it for free: ml-science-book.com

Gradient Boosted Trees is the most popular machine learning technique in the industry right now.

In Computer Vision, ResNets are by far #1.

If you only want to focus on two, make them XGBoost and ConvNets.

Machine Learning models do not predict the future.
They just find patterns in the past.
