Excellent explanation. As a former Medicaid case manager, I have seen families have to sell their homes, cars and all assets. Once you are in a nursing home on Medicaid funds, most people get a monthly allowance of $50. Everything else goes to the state to pay for your care

I worked as a RN Case Manager for a Medicaid funded program for nearly six years. This is devastating. Millions will lose care. Nursing homes will close. Hospitals will close. People will die waiting for care. Average lifespan will decline. Children will suffer. This is horrific

FACT: If Trump's budget Bill passes, 1 out 4 nursing homes will close. We already have a severe shortage of nursing homes. Where will these people go? Dwell on this.
