Justice Wyant’s report on #CorruptCare states on Page 3 that “unlike a public inquiry, this investigation did not have power to subpoena or hear testimony under oath. As a result, people had the opportunity to decline to be interviewed. Some did.”

We need a full public inquiry now.

We need teachers and students back in school, NOW. The UCP needs to fix this by getting back to the table. Teachers deserve smaller classes, safer classrooms, better supports for students and to be fairly compensated. We stand with teachers, students and families.

Danielle Smith's 'plan' for a pipeline is nothing but a pipe dream.

There's no route, no partner, no funding, and no consultation. Just another $14 million of taxpayer funds wasted on a project that does nothing and goes nowhere.

Alberta's New Democrats got it done once, and we'll do it again.

Alberta has the lowest minimum wage in the country.

Alberta has the highest youth unemployment in the country.

This is a very strong argument AGAINST the idea that raising the minimum wage increases youth unemployment.

Why did Smith say the opposite - she is lying or incompetent. #AbLeg

The lack of accountability is the point.

It’s easier to pretend you aren’t failing students, teachers, and parents if you stopped collecting evidence showing you’re doing exactly that.
"Although the province stopped tracking class sizes in 2019, educators say anecdotally their classrooms are becoming increasingly jammed."

Honestly wild Alberta stopped tracking this data and we now have to rely on anecdotal evidence when it comes to a key issue holding up a new teachers contract.

This is a disturbing pattern of unethical behaviour from the Premier. As the Ethics Commissioner found, the Premier does not respect the independence of the judiciary or the Crown Prosecution Service.

Public education is important.

It’s an equalizer.

Yet, Danielle Smith and the UCP have reduced the per student education funding in Alberta to the lowest level in the country.

Let’s not get distracted.

Students deserve far better than this.

Are you sure you’re listening? 🤨

Danielle Smith’s waste-of-taxpayer-money “Alberta Next” panels turned rowdy in Edmonton.

It’s clear they’re not interested in hearing from Albertans. The UCP just wants to continue to push their costly, destabilizing ideas on Alberta.

So much for respecting public money and accountability.

Albertans deserve far better.

Danielle Smith used to say taxpayers deserve to know how their money is spent.

Now she’s deleted 8 years of expense records and scrapped the rule to post receipts over $100.

Why doesn’t she believe in transparency anymore?

What are you hiding, Danielle?

Almost $150M. That’s how much Albertans are on the hook for because this UCP government keeps flip-flopping on their coal policy. And that’s just to settle one lawsuit!

Danielle Smith has the gall to demand the town of Jasper apologize for an independent report that found the UCP’s interference made it harder to fight last year’s wildfire.

I know the Premier isn’t used to the concept of unbiased, non-partisan reports, but it’s the norm for the rest of us. #abpoli

Albertans do not support leaving the CPP.

Danielle Smith and the UCP are failing to create good jobs for Albertans. We have the highest unemployment in western Canada and the highest youth unemployment in the country. It’s time to focus on job creation, not chasing away investments and opportunities.
