Oh man… I just finished this book which covers the period between 1917 and 1921. It was the most oppressive period in US history and you don’t have to squint hard to see the parallels to today - right down concealing the impairment of an ailing President.

XO is in his 6th week of a training, but has been coming home on weekends. When we had our snow storm, I got to feeling sympathetic for the rest of his cohort who were snowed in at a hotel so I baked Chocolate chip cookies for him to take back and share.
