any time any notable court case comes around, it feels like everybody is watching the judge like "are you a wacko or is this case going to be ruled in a normal expected way" every time, and lately its a tossup EVERY time. sandwich guy; is this one gonna make sense??

hot take but i think people who both are hardcore religious and anti-science need to grow the fuck up, its literally too late in the game to be a climate change denier & my niece probably wont get to grow old due to boomers' insatiable lust for oil

It’s obvious but worth drawing out what raids of Home Depot’s of all places is about. It’s rounding up people who are really eager for work and for whom there is work, peoples whose labor is in demand. We know this but shows just how far it is from rounding up just the bad guys.

we arrive at the theater for a minecraft movie, and the lobby is filled with 25 kids, all probably around 10 y/o, i turn to my partner and say "this is a bad omen" & i was right, they were extremely rowdy & talkative during the movie
