I never follow some influencers/celebs unless there’s a reason. Their profiles aren’t managed by them, and the only thing their managers care about is the number of views and likes. They never reply to comments, and they don’t care about each fan.

We are selling our product, not our image.

1) Younger people who chaotically look for a date.

2) Older people who want to date the author.

John Steinbeck had such an understanding of humans and how they operate. This is a wonderful piece that is at least as true today as when he wrote it in a letter in the late 1950s.
