The flagship femroe, Sanguine Moon, sits with her back against a fence bearing her name in red text. The sun is shining brightly behind her casting a beam forward to the camera, illuminating her from behind. She is beauty, She is grace, She's gonna shoot you in the face. Sitting somewhere in the range of late-twenties, around seven feet tall, hair redder than Ifrit's arse and a personality twice as spicy, Sanguine looks deceptively sweet and simple. Her smile lights up a room and she is not afraid to break the silence laughing at her own jokes. She loves a good party, the freedom to roam and revel, and is happy to lead if nobody else is willing, and the more fun she has, the more of her you will see ;) But even the moon has a dark side. Behind her every bright smile sits a tongue that's said goodbye one too many times, She carries with her stories and secrets of those she's left behind as the fuel to push her forward. Her heart burns --literally, it /burns/-- with godly passion for her cause. If only she would tell someone what that is... Despite her knack for fashion, She is not afraid to don a suit of plate and charge headfirst into battle with a blade when need be, though with advancements in Garlean counteroffensive tech, she has since taken to the humble firearm, both for its range-of-use and ease-of-access in the scrap-soaked shores of The Pearls. More often than not though, one can find Sanguine roaming from city to city, playing socialite by day and vigilante by night, She's not quite good at 'blending in', so she's taken to standing out just enough to attract potential support for her battles. Though some say she's using it as an opportunity to drink her way towards fighting her own. Whichever it is, you can rest assured that it is indeed a gun under her skirt, but she is still very happy to see you regardless~ ♥ An open book with several papers, notes, coins, scribbles, and stains all across it, appearing to be a dossier of sorts for Sanguine, One page is ripped off, exposing a page behind with secret plans partially obscured with notes. On the sides of the book lay a folder and more scrap papers, as well as a quill with bright red ink on it. The text reads as follows: DEPLOYMENT REPORT: Sanguine Moon Age: Scribbled out in red, marked "28? 29? I don't know" Nameday: 6th AE 1555. exact date unknown Height: 7 Fulms A display of job icons with the text "Still can't heal" Notable Features: Pale pink skin (lightly burned), Pointed ears, Sharpened teeth, Deep red hair, Consistent blush, Bright smile, Often seen wearing black & red, if she's wearing anything at all.. Likely inebriated, Always armed, Very unpredictable mannerisms. History: Originally part of the a sect looking for new eastern routes to supply the Ala Mhigan Resistance through the Rothlyt Sound, Sanguine has been at the forefront of our operation across the entire region since The Battle at Bloodforge. Her unique ability to intake aetheric power without corruption to herself has supercharged her ability to fight in the worst of conditions, and her (REDACTED) is attributed to her influence from (REDACTED) allowing her enough foresight to maintain one step ahead of foes at any given moment. We are incredibly glad she is on our side. For the unintroduced; This is Sanguine! The main focus of the story, but not the only perspective telling it... Sanguine. Reports are coming in from the ears and eyes of The Steed that word of the (REDACTED) has been spreading. We require your efforts on both fronts to soften the impact towards the people of Eorzea. The others are already hard at work in the field, and your hand is the strongest we have. Tell our story, and tell it right. -V Written below: "♥ Won't let you down!" What could all this mean? What are those markings on the map?? What was on that ripped page??? An open scroll revealing a map of The Pearls, with large swaths marked in red ink displaying where Allagan lunar remnants have fallen. Several locations are marked with stars, many of which border the marked zones, Each spot being a designated camp for the operation, often no more than a reclaimed ruin or well-defended cave, but in a region lost to the elements, it's the best this group can get. Some regions, like Bloodforge, Spotlight, Warwheels, and Black Pearl Docks, all have slightly higher relevancy to the operation. Bloodforge is a unique site, rumored to be the source of Sanguine's power. Reports from intercepted garlean intelligence claim it is related to the exclusion zone directly north of it, and the foothills hold something special, only time will tell.. Warwheels operates as a semi-autonomous entity, a dubious arms factory using a terrible mix of aetheric energy and practical engineering creating a mechanical monstrosity of waterwheels and aetherflux furnaces straddling the rapids of the Yugr'am river, We don't ask questions, we just accept their help. The Spotlight is a defunct lighthouse retrofitted with garlean radio-tech in order to intercept incoming reports and attacks from the tip of Mazlaya. While the nerds there are strange, they seem to mean well! Black Pearl is the "economy" of the region, but is no more than a trading hub for local pirates, fishers, and outcasts.. right? On the left hidden behind a bloodstained dagger paperweight is a paper scrap that reads: "All maps and lore presented are works of fanfiction and do not represent actual gameplay experience of the creator nor are they lore accurate or official at all let me worldbuild in peace dammit" (Partially obscured at the end, but the meaning is there!) On the right is a note pressed into the map that reads: "Sanguine, This map will show you the latest findings of the nearby Aetheric Exclusion Zones surrounding the eastern shores, Travel wisely. (P.S. Come home, we miss you)"

Just in case anyone out there feels like they shouldn’t post art - please do. The constant bullshit from the news is difficult but we can’t allow all of that to stop us from making art and sharing it. That’s all I have to say rn - am planning to enjoy the rest of my weekend working on sketches.

Sanguine stands tall on an angled stone brick, wearing a black ornate dress and matching boots and sleeves. She is looking up at the starry night sky above her, with a horned crown pointing up with her gaze. She holds a glowing red spear behind her back, tucked in between her arm, and fit perfectly to frame. The front flap of her dress is lifted slightly to expose her whole thigh and a peek of a bit more ;) This one was a fun challenge because I've been trying to make myself take pictures a bunch of named zones, and this ended up being the skies over Anyx Trine, on the walls surrounding the tower. I tried like four different poses in the inner sections with no luck until I just flew outside and saw the night sky and went 'yeah, i could be an edgy dragoon there' and thus, we have art. I've been trying to capture more of Sanguine in the different jobs she may be familiar with, and while she's not quite an ishgard-trained dragoon, she sure can hit a bitch with a stick and was originally written as a DRK tank-parallel to estinien in her pre-rewrite lore. lyrics from WARGASM(UK)'s "Salma Hayek", a banger worth a listen, one of my fav sanguinecore songs ♫
