Hey Bluesky, with one day until Election Day in NYC, can you help us out by making #dontrankcuomo go viral?

We’re trying to prevent a corrupt sexual predator from running our city.

Just share a post with the hashtag! This thread is filled with ideas.

Repost. Share. Everywhere.

Don’t rank Cuomo.

The tragically undercovered new Trump travel bans resemble an updated version of the 1924 Johnson-Reed immigration act that stopped Catholics and Jews from entering from Eastern and Southern Europe, writes Harold Meyerson:

Could Anything Be More Bigoted Than Trump’s Travel Bans?
The 48 nations on his no-visa lists are united only by populations from which white Christians are almost entirely absent.

Do you still follow someone because you’re angry at them and want to track the things they do?

I invite you to start your summer by unfollowing them so you don’t devote energy to something that makes you sad

It’s okay to not be okay. 1 in 5 adults in the United States experiences mental health challenges and during Mental Health Awareness Month, we recommit ourselves to ending the stigma and choosing hope.

OK, this is wild.

In September 2023, geophysicists across the world started monitoring a very odd signal coming from the ground under them.

It was picked up in the Arctic. And Antarctica. It was detected everywhere, every 90 seconds, as regular as a metronome, for *nine days*.

What the HELL?

100% Tariffs is cultural isolation, economically harmful to the film and probably music industry (the very thing that gave him popularity), and restriction of consumer choice. This is exacerbating division not UNITING anyone. Is he forgetting he is also the child of an immigrant?!

Imagine thinking that tech people who blow millions on baubles are inherently more efficient than a Head Start teacher who is forced to feed and entertain 20 toddlers with change she scrounged from under the car seat.

My two cents: we don’t abandon the Democratic Party. We remake it. It’s a good party. It just has bad leadership.

I'm not sure which of you need to hear this, but:

If you push yourself to your limits and burn out for a company, you are trading years of your future productivity for minor gains in the present.

Burning out will _fuck you up_, it's like brain fog or depression, and it takes years to recover
