Old DJ shouts at cloud: colored vinyl is annoying, it makes it harder to mix because you can't see what the groove is up to. Transparent is even worse because the flip shows through making it even harder to see what's going on. Also it's more expensive. Plain black options please, labels

Jimmy Cliff always reminds me of building my first DIY music PC, because I had him on repeat as I figured out how to stick all the bits together. First thing I did to test the soundcard was loop a bit of him over a break. A unique voice. RIP.

Finally got to see* Autechre live last night. Went right down the front, nodded my head next to some very advanced ravers determinedly bopping along for the whole gig. 1.5 hours of unbroken mayhem, absolutely amazing.
