The title rn is Falling in Love with Tact and Guile.
Its about Nessa, the newly coronated monarch of Nortland, trying to prevent a war with the country of Laverne and having to the general of the opposing army, Ellery, alive.

btw telling an artist you like their OC/want to see more has a lot more impact than numbers of likes and shares... obv those are appreciated too, but you don't really know what ppl sharing your art think of it unless they tell you. and it feels really nice to know! a kind comment goes a long way :)

This reply in particular is so reassuring TvT. It feels nearly impossible sometimes and with very little to no reward 98% of the time. But, as with writing, it's not just something i like to do. It's something i NEED to do.
it's SO intense, it's why i pivoted to 32 page books for kids while working full-time... it was literally all i had time for and even that knocked me on my ass. comics are HARD!!!

I cant show you guys due to spoilers, but the next update of Ostrum has a page that goes soooooooo fucking hard that i am frothing at the mouth and barking like a wild dog. Also, unfortunately, only other comic aficionados will even pick up on it TTwTT

Unfortunately for me, this is a weekly ritual. It doesn't get easier to keep making Ostrum, but it is consistently cathartic.
Monthly reminder: Many people have a book in them, but it takes a special kind of freak to leave the Land of Laziness, cross the Plains of Procrastination and Insecurity Mountain, find the Blade of No One Made You Do This, and use it to cut your chest open and yank that book out.

What a perfect time to talk about my MC Kiyuri (he/him)
here's some info that im not sure will ever come up in the comic:
1) he's ace/panromantic
2) he's 5'7 and a little self conscious about it, but he'd never let it show
3)he didn't get his first prosthetic until he was 7 years old
