Time to light the science sage to clear the air for the #CAREER that just went in. Also, reminder kids the margins are 1” not 0.5” that led to quite a frantic reshuffling hours before the deadline

I guess you can only tell apple so many times to wait to install their very pressing software updates. I wasn’t trying to finish my #CAREER proposal or anything. Thanks for the forced break ya hunk of junk.

Fun fact. I’ve been chasing a ghost on the scope forevvvure, forevvure. Well today I found it. My piezo was going to sleep during acquisition: well now it’s caffeinated. Stay tuned #fluorescentFriday is gearing up to be an absolute gem.

The change to 25 mm coverslips from 5mm is just too much to handle. Love that they are so big, but hate that they are so big. Now, we can have the best of both worlds with these autoclavable PC cell plating inserts tm, patent pending (lulz). We can add 50k cells rather than 1 million per well 🤩

Be me, get an mri and when they ask for what XM station you respond with Faction Punk, or anything else but country… and they hear… oh sure I’ll absolutely put country on for you, please and thank you. #myEarsAreBleeding

Getting our PDMS out of the mold used to be such a hassle. Not anymore! Just pull the walls out and it’s free. Bonus: we printed a cap to line up the biopsy punch which makes hole prep an absolute breeze.

We needed a new pipeline to convert images to be ready for primetime in our online volume viewer so who better to ask than a computer. It has a more reliable auto contrast now, so that's pretty cute and that tiled atlas is a bajillion times better than zipception was. 🔬🧐 pypi.org/project/pixe...

A DIY high-resolution light-sheet microscope! Congrats to @john-haug.bsky.social, who simulated, designed, built, and validated the system!

Resolution: 235 nm (x), 233 nm (y), 350 nm (z). On par with LLSM, but easier to build. 🔥
