Hey you, GRFP Honorable Mentionee... wanna be a new FP? Come join us as an #EGFP, we have a shiny new stipend and black hills you'll love to enjoy. Oh and I suppose there's some cool science you could do as well. etap.nsf.gov/award/8241/o...

Time to light the science sage to clear the air for the #CAREER that just went in. Also, reminder kids the margins are 1” not 0.5” that led to quite a frantic reshuffling hours before the deadline

I guess you can only tell apple so many times to wait to install their very pressing software updates. I wasn’t trying to finish my #CAREER proposal or anything. Thanks for the forced break ya hunk of junk.

Seems like part of the NSF is still functioning! We got an #NOA today and it begins tomorrow!

Sometimes you have a square peg and you don’t want to buy a 10k round one because you like the square one

The change to 25 mm coverslips from 5mm is just too much to handle. Love that they are so big, but hate that they are so big. Now, we can have the best of both worlds with these autoclavable PC cell plating inserts tm, patent pending (lulz). We can add 50k cells rather than 1 million per well 🤩

Getting our PDMS out of the mold used to be such a hassle. Not anymore! Just pull the walls out and it’s free. Bonus: we printed a cap to line up the biopsy punch which makes hole prep an absolute breeze.

We needed a new pipeline to convert images to be ready for primetime in our online volume viewer so who better to ask than a computer. It has a more reliable auto contrast now, so that's pretty cute and that tiled atlas is a bajillion times better than zipception was. 🔬🧐 pypi.org/project/pixe...

Turned on the pumps and cells hit warp speed immediately! Gonna need a faster camera

Only one cat ass trophy today. Turns out if you plug a capacitor in backwards… forbidden confetti flies

Whose idea was it to print a class full of pumps?! #microfluidicsMonday

What’s better than one syringe pump… well for starters baking 9 more

Thanks, but I like my work area a little tidier though, really helps me get my steps in as I look for that damn 2.5 hex for the 64000th time today.

We are using them in a microfluidic device :) we printed a little get up with defined spacing that uses two photocells and leds to calibrate the flow rate.
March 26, 2025 at 3:57 PM
Look at those lil flags spin! We can now control up to 8 syringe pumps off two UART lines on the ESP32 board. Comes complete with a web app to adjust flow rate, turns pumps on and off, and runs sequences. #automateAllTheThings

Sometimes you gotta print a lil wood fish casket for a 5 year old so it doesn’t need flushed.
