When learning to play ‘ukulele, I remember something clicked one day, and I could strum and sing at the same time. Later, it happened one day with more complex strumming patterns.
Today, it clicked for singing while playing bass! Suddenly, I can sing most songs while playing the bassline!! Happy!

I practiced bass so much on Sunday, that I can't use my left index finger without pain in the fingertip pad. :P
Being inspired to play/practice, but being unable to do so... Absolutely the worst. I'm really hoping this repairs itself in a few days.

Couple more colored triangles painted on the left fender, and the right fender got some rust stopping primer. I'm going to REALLY like this when it's done. Looks so darn cool. xD

More progress on the house pad slope armoring (pictured is a 10ft 2x4, for scale, no bananas available).
And a couple different ferns for ya. New ‘āma‘u, and hāpu‘u fiddleheads.

New project I've had in the "considering" stage for over a year. xD
Point of this is two-fold. Rust protection and cool-looking, which seems obvious, but also that I'll be able to fix up any rust bubbles with literally any blue or yellow paint from anywhere.

I started facing the steep sides of the red cinder pad that our house is built on because it's starting to slide down away from the house. The much heavier gray rock will stabilize the sides of the pad. This is maybe 5 to 10% of the total needed.
Plenty rock! May as well use it!

I can't touch the hose without getting stuck by one, and definitely can't walk barefoot outside.
They're really hard to catch on camera, but the ground sparkles in the sun.
