I just finished reading this fascinating book by my colleague and friend Dr. Elizabeth Shepherd of @ucl.ac.uk.

Highly recommended, especially for anyone interested in the (many) challenges facing female archivists in early 20th-century England.

When an institution tasked with preserving a nation's history begins erasing major events like presidential impeachments, it is not protecting the past; it is rewriting it.

It was delightful to join today’s conversation about information/evidence literacy, hosted by the American Library Association, to discuss my book A Matter of Facts and highlight the role of archives & records as bulwarks against fake news & disinformation.

Congratulations to the Association of Canadian Archivists for organizing this event. I hope it receives full media attention.

The protection of and access to #archives, #records, and other sources of #evidence is fundamental to a free, fair, and democratic society. Such access is in grave peril.
The Association of Canadian Archivists' conference this year has its closing plenary on June 12 at 3:30 p.m.

The plenary features a conversation led by Leslie Weir, National Archivist and Librarian of Canada, with Dr. Colleen Shogan, former Archivist of the United States.
