Solomon, working with colleagues at NOAA, proposed/confirmed the cause of the Antarctic ozone hole, chlorofluorocarbons. She led the Nat'l Ozone Expedition to Antarctica to collect evidence & was the only woman on the team. #WomenInSTEM (1/2)

I tried to do speed work but the footing was snowy and icy, so I put in a lot more effort and didn’t get much faster. Oh well! Can’t complain when you get views like this.

Daily Running can be a struggle, especially when traveling. I'm currently trapped by snow and a highway, so today it was running laps up and down the little 1 km road to get my run in.

I’m on the Appalachian Trail!
Went for a 16 km run in the mountains. A fun aspect of running in Appalachia is that you cross state borders while running. It’s hard to do that in the UP.
