this is literally how big contracts work in every major american league!! every!!! single!!!!!! one!!!!!!!!!!
“According to sources, the Spirit had proposed a four-year scaling contract that would see the 23-year-old free agent paid more in the final two years of the deal, with the hope of an increased media rights deal for the NWSL following upcoming negotiations helping with those costs.”
NEW: The Spirit came up with a multi-million dollar offer to keep Trinity Rodman in the league, which she was ready to accept. It was vetoed by NWSL commissioner Jessica Berman, according to sources.

Where's it leave negotiations? Great question. www.nytimes.com/athletic/686...

Go get ‘em! ✏️💜☮️✌️
To get permanently accredited as press by the NYC office, I need to cover 3 (more) NYC events - so get ready, we are going to Rockefeller Tree Lighting, Bryant Park, Holiday Trains etc. 🎄

Well, this will get me out of the house.
Intention is, obviously, to be able to cover news going forward.

Chris Murphy: "There will be pretty substantial damage to a Dem brand that has been rehabilitated if on the heels of an election in which the people told us to keep fighting, we immediately stop... if we surrender without having gotten anything, I worry it'll be hard to get them back up off the mat"

I don’t care if Schumer voted no. If he’s unable to wrangle the caucus, he’s not an effective leader. I’ll continue to push for the caucus to elect a new one.

No results. No race. No walk. Disappointing. 🤷🏼‍♂️😵‍💫✌️☮️
This is interesting. File a notice when the event is on, and make sure we know the results. Turn off the TV and sleep.

I walked 4.3 miles yesterday in prep for the Bay Bridge run / walk in Maryland. It is a huge event. I’m loaded with winter and rain gear, two sets of clothing, checked into a hotel ready for a 6 am bus ride in the rain to the trailhead and tonight, it has been cancelled due to the weather. Sleep in🤷🏼‍♂️

Exactly
Literally anyone I am remotely related to I refer to my “aunt,”
“uncle,” or “cousin,” (and any older Indian person I actually call “auntie” and “uncle”) and I’m pretty sure that’s quite common among South Asians

It costs ~$70 to produce a year’s supply of insulin.

Yet, the average annual cost of insulin went from $2,864 in 2012 to $5,705 in 2016 to $18,000 in 2025. A 25,714% markup. That isn’t inflation or supply chain—It’s corporate greed.

Now—California will sell insulin for $11. Make this nationwide!
