Just finished Lost Records: Bloom & Rage . I had feels. Cynical reviews again lowered my expectations and I ended up adoring it. Really hope they continue with Lost Records whether that is an anthology series or a straight up sequel. I am so here for it. Now I need a frame for the polaroid.

Told folks I hate Hamnet at work and the reaction like me euthanizing their pet. I don’t understand how my personal taste is so valuable as to offend someone and their identity. They then started interrogating me about my favourite movies like it would reveal me to be a movie imbecile or something.

Been playing Reanimal with a friend and so far loving it. Far more engaging than LN3 and it innovates with its use of 3 dimensions. Visual aesthetics and sound design are top notch. I won’t hesitate on future DLC.

I raced to my ps5 to buy the God of War Sons of Sparta game but…. $40 (CAD) ??? Yeesh. Not saying it isn’t worth that but I am gonna wait for some reviews before I throw that kind of money at it.

I was seeing a lot of negativity before thinking of something to say… that for me what one of the best State of Plays in recent memory. I wasn’t expecting a Dead or Alive 7 announcement or a 2d Castlevania, or the MGS Volume 2 Collection. Also the Rooster game… cockadoodle-do better be my warcry.
If anyone even hints that was a bad State of Play, they're on crack and don't like games.

I just finally saw Hamnet. I am calling it now. This movie is winning the Oscar.
Cause I fucking hated it and that is how the Academy Awards seem to work for me. Can’t remember the last Oscar winner I didn’t think was total trash… Moonlight I guess?

I think what is killing 2xko is its piss poor value for dollar proposition. Sure it is F2P but it is poorly communicated how many characters you actually get with a deluxe or ultra edition. 12 characters for $140 Cad when i can just buy SF6 or TK8 for half or less with a full story mode. Pass.

I love that the CBC has done coverage for the new game Relooted. I had been anticipating playing it since reading about it in Edge Magazine a few months ago. So far my first impressions of playing it today are ‘very good’. If you have Gamepass it would be silly to not check it out.

I love that the CBC has done coverage for the new game Relooted. I had been anticipating playing it since reading about it in Edge Magazine a few months ago. So far my first impressions of playing it today are ‘very good’. If you have Gamepass it would be silly to not check it out.
Finished Life Is Strange: Double Exposure earlier tonight. Having my impressions skewed by unwarranted negative reviews I went in with low expectations and left absolutely loving it. Such beautiful game done using Unreal Engine 5.

More upstairs idiocy. I haven’t played the game (don’t like Riot or tag fighters) but to layoff 80 staff less than 3 weeks into release and only been at one major FGC tournament…. this is quitting before you’ve even started.

Just finished the 2024 Alone in the Dark reboot with David Harbour and Jodie Comer starring. I enjoyed the hell out of it and am really disappointed with the cynical reviews it got. It’s not perfect but better than 6/10. I think it was cursed being released next to Alan Wake 2.
