News of Mandelson's resignation reminds me of a passage from Jim McVeigh's book Our Martin. Mandelson was 'very arrogant' and talked down to everyone. Martin McGuinness rarely lost it with anyone but he did with Mandelson.

Membership of the 'board of peace' itself has not been announced. Nor has the 'international stabilisation force' been assembled as no country has yet to committed to joining it. Some Arab states have refused to join under any circumstances.
