Good morning! Today's #WeekendSingles starts with the absolute banger that Fisherman's Blues remains being. The Eve of The War may or may not be the alternate vocal with Chris Thompson instead of Justin Hayward, I don't recall. Starting top left, both sides, clockwise for both pictures.

@rockingbob.bsky.social Hey Bob, do you know where the stereo mix of Freddie/Dreamers first album came from? I've not seen it on vinyl anywhere, only a 2fer CD where the stereo mix has the tracks a little bit in the wrong order? Also, any sign of a Brown & Porters stereo mix that you know of?

I've cleared a backlog of poo and paper from our sewer manhole today. I'm feeling a little fragile but I'm glad it could be done mostly with water and not with the fork and spade I was preparing to use. Also, dog poo vomit was a worse cleaning experience I think.

Funny how tastes change. I had a copy I got rid of years ago and only liked Down Under on it as I recall. Picked it up again for cheap and Down Under may not even be the best track for me this time!
