Good morning! Today's #WeekendSingles includes the original single mix of Paul Young's Love of The Common People, which is different to the track presented as such on the Tomb of Memories anthology. Playing from top left, both sides, clockwise, both pictures, except Young as has test tone on b-side.

Post lunch bonus round of #WeekendSingles with a brief diversion to check out a different mix of the same song. I'm already looking forward to playing more Stevie next week.

Good morning! Today's #WeekendSingles starts with the absolute banger that Fisherman's Blues remains being. The Eve of The War may or may not be the alternate vocal with Chris Thompson instead of Justin Hayward, I don't recall. Starting top left, both sides, clockwise for both pictures.

Quick #WeekendSingles comparison to the Harry J label version reveals the Trojan sounds a bit better (this could be down to condition, despite initial thoughts) and appears to have an earlier fade.

Good morning! Today's #WeekendSingles brings a Bob & Marcia single without the Crosby, Stills, Nash credit (& different b-side to the Trojan single) and a possible Mexican Folk promo single. Playing both sides, clockwise from top left and again for the second picture.

Funny how tastes change. I had a copy I got rid of years ago and only liked Down Under on it as I recall. Picked it up again for cheap and Down Under may not even be the best track for me this time!
