Managed to get out for some birding on Saturday. The Lake Renwick Preserve has changed in the last few years. Cormorants are taking over and now outnumber the Herons and Egrets, probably 8 to 1. Still nice to see a few birds up close. #canonphotography #birding #heron #rf200800

Wired is dropping paywalls for FOIA-based reporting. Others should follow
As the administration does its best to hide public records from the public, Wired magazine is stepping up to help stem the secrecy

I'm devastated.
Just got a new 16" MacBook Pro M4. Impressed. So far have only used it for photo editing. Never heard the CPU fan on my M1 MacBook Pro so this was a big surprise when I heard this one. I'm re-organizing an out of control 5TB photo library with LR so this not normal use but I'm slightly concerned.
