The fact that Bad Bunny's halftime show made white bigots angry and feel excluded is A GOOD THING. It's one of the best things about it. It's not a problem to solve. It's a solution to pursue. Bigots *should* feel excluded. We should find *more* ways to celebrate the reality of USian diversity.

All this talk about ads in AI when the bulk of AI interaction will be machine-to-machine, not human-to-machine.

Also, the delay in response is a great example of why inference is (must) move to the edge.

Also also: great ad!
Here's my favorite from the hilarious ad campaign from Anthropic. Such a good ad.

Mistake I see most dem elected officials making on social media is acting as journalists and telling us about the bad things done by this regime.

Not their job.

Their job is to tell us what they are DOING about it (specifics only) and tell us what they need US to do to help them fight.

Teachers by day. Rock stars by night. Every year, I photograph the CB Save The Music concert: three sold-out shows that have raised nearly $500K for music education. This year, the roll call sounded different: former students, now teachers, on the same stage.

Today I learned USA Today is still in business. Not the business of journalism, but business of some sort.
oh good we've got the stalwart journalistic gumshoes at USAToday cracking the case on RFK Jr's fear mongering over cell phone health impacts, I'm sure that will settle it

For my PR peeps: a good reminder that biz books won’t make you a better writer; your nightstand should be stacked high with books that transport you someplace beyond your daily grind.
A friend recently asked me for some advice on books to read about writing. I got rather carried away and decided to write this blog post. It's about what writing books are for, and which titles I've found most useful in my own life.

I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.
