I'm so stoked seeing Rich share these pages. What a monumental omnibus!

What's a comic you've read recently that made you go "Wow"?

Junkyard Joe by Geoff Johns and Gary Frank. Wow!

That's absolutely beautiful!
Dad sent, what seemed then, mixed messages. "We can't all be chiefs, some of us have to be braves" when I was ambitious.
"They put their pants on one leg at a time, same as anyone else" when I was intimidated.
When I went to my 1st comic con, the latter helped.
"Why, they're all nerds, just older."

I agree that Junkyard Joe is special. A real gem. Yet, I can't wait for my Redcoat deluxe hardcover that has been pre-ordered.

I'm so happy for you, Bill! We should be seeing more of this kind of news. That is great! Good community that I'm proud to be a part of.
Would like to thank all you who helped me track down my final issue, #13, of the Disney Zorro run! This one came from Four Color Comics in Scarsdale, NY. Thrilled, but even more pleased to be a part of such a wonderful comic community.🙏

I don't think that any of Terry's works are less than phenomenal.
Book 15 of 2026 Strangers In Paradise Volume One by @terrymooreart.bsky.social

Easy 5 stars! A series I own in paperback & HC, yes it's that good! One of my fav series of all time & an easy "must read." So much to love!

I just finished Traveling to Mars, and it was an absolutely Fantastic experience. No capes, here. This is a wonderfully written story by Mark Russell about one man's life. The art by Roberto Meli is beautiful and complimentary. This book deserved more than its Eisner nominations. 5/5

Just finished Junkyard Joe — 5⭐️; incredible.

A robot who can’t speak delivers more emotion than most books w/ pages of dialogue. The Vietnam flashbacks, Joe protecting the kids, his quiet loyalty hit hard. Gary Frank’s art sells every beat. Heart-wrenching

I really wish I could take this journey. Financially, almost everything's been eliminated from my budget. Yet trust me... Trekker is worth the trip, and I will be looking for this in the future. Trekker is fantastic!

If you thought this was fun, Junkyard Joe is going to knock your socks off.
Just finished Geiger Vol 2, Johns & Frank continue to crush it. Builds out the wider world, art is great w/ super cool fight scenes, but why this sings is the world & the character depth. Going to read Junkyard Joe & Redcoat soon because this is great fun! #ComicSky #GhostMachine #UnNamed #Geiger

My OCD has me buy everything. The sheer volume of work keeps me from buying Usagi beyond the box set I have. This is one of my favorite stories, and I really need to learn to use the library. I could enjoy it more.
Just finished Usagi Yojimbo Vol. 7: Gen’s Story-loved it. Gen’s backstory adds real emotional weight;Sakai balances humor, tragedy, & action w/ total confidence. Quiet, precise storytelling that sneaks up on you then lands hard. One of my favorite volumes so far.5⭐️

I just finished reading Absolute Flash vol 1. While I'm interested in reading beyond the six issues contained in this collection, I found it to be a little busy story-wise. The art was also something I had to get used to. Yet, like I said, after six issues, I would like to read more. 3/5

Finished reading Wolverine The Four Sisters last night. I thought it was a lot of fun. The art, even though it changed hands a few times, was good for the story. As I've come to expect, Tom Taylor put a great amount of heart and soul into this. It's everything a Wolverine story should be. 4/5
