I know that my posts don't normally go anywhere as far as responses. That's okay. It's suddenly very important that I share this; when I joined the Navy and left home, my collection didn't go away. Every week, my dad went to the store and bought one of everything and saved them for my return. Love U

Nobody knows what they'll do until that moment is upon them. I, thankfully, am a hero.
Sometimes I fantasize about seeing an injustice being carried out out on the streets and stepping in to stop it but then I think would I really? What would I really do? And I’m afraid I might do nothing. That it’s easy to talk as a hero online but in the real world I’m not sure. Maybe not.

This Marvel Premier run is, to this day, one of my very favorite runs of Dr. Strange.
Marvel Premiere 5 (Nov 1972) cover by Mike Ploog. While Ploog didn’t often do covers for which he didn’t also do interior art, he did do so on several covers of this Dr. Strange-starring series. The story inside is by Gardner Fox in one of his few Marvel credits. Lovecraftian (by way of R.E. Howard)
