Ten years ago today, I held my first book for the first time. A great feeling.

Had two books out in 2016.

One in 2019.

Two in 2024.

One in 2026?

A few folks have asked me if a particular Alien/s game is in the book.

They all are! All officially licensed games. All AvP games. Plus fan games and cancelled games and games that are Alien/s but not officially.

And when a film has multiple distinct games, they all get their own chapter.

Really good video here on T2 games, but also speaks to how, in the 80s and 90s, there wasn't always a rush to get a film license game out. Home video was massive, so you could still tie a release into that success.

Also, with Aliens done, does someone wanna pay me to do a Terminator book?
Could you do me a favour & share this video pls?

Trying to see something... I know lots of people are experiencing lower YT views, but I want to see if boosting external links/shares makes a difference.

Plus, if you like old vs new T2 games. Pls have a watch :)

Remake? Unnecessary. Just put the PAL Sega version on the eshop with touchscreen shooting and menu controls.

It's a while til it's released - officially at the end of August - but if any book-reviewing types out there are interested in receiving an advance (digital) copy of Aliens: The Video Games for coverage purposes, please let me know. Cos that can be arranged. I'm very up for chats, too.

This means you'll be able to pick up a copy of my book on 50 years of home gaming history, The Console, at Debug Games Festival.

Or pick it up and have a leaf through the pages, at least. Every little helps.

*Special offer* pre-orders for Aliens: The Video Games will run in March.

So while it is out there now for pre-orders at a number of retailers (and those retailers may respect the forthcoming saving), my advice is to wait a few weeks and save a few quid.

But please do buy it. Please. Thanks.

In March/April I want to be doing whatever I can to promote Aliens: The Video Games. Some fun stories in the book to recount to folks with podcasts and blogs. It's releasing in August but the key pre-order push is around Alien Day, April 26.

I will reach out to known folks but, recommendations?
