Please don't give your org or rōpū a Māori name but then continue to navigate spaces via an anti-Māori approach. Solidarity with Te Ao Māori goes beyond recognising our place names or giving yourself a Māori name.

Honestly, show our govts there's a need for your local marae to be resourced. They're constantly relying on us in the case of emergencies and I know for a fact that not all our marae are equipped for this but we push on!

E hoa mā, Gaza is 41km long - that's such a long way to walk when you're told to leave your homes, yet such a small area to see such relentless assault. 41km is about 8 laps of Hagley Park. Join me tomorrow in Ōtautahi for a hīkoi beginning 8am as we walk the length of Gaza in solidarity.

Someone just called me to apologise bc they felt their text message was a bit blunt and rude. They called in the middle of their work morning to make sure I knew they didn't have any ill will in their text message.
