A very difficult Friday for early career scientists.
Heartbroken to hear that the @hhmi.org Hanna Grey fellowship competition is being cancelled this year. I poured so much work and creativity into this app and am very grateful for everyone who helped me revise. It is such a difficult time to be a young scientist.

This administration is making us dread Fridays.
That is a fundamental wrong.
TGIF is offended.
Just rude. 😑

The best of multi-omics on plant microbe interactions! Very exciting work!
The 2nd project of my PhD work is now live! We showed strong associations of plant-derived metabolite trimethyllysine and rhizobiome functions, on mechanisms of rhizosphere recruitment and the microbial capacity to enhance host’s drought stress resilience. @sonnytmlee.bsky.social
