Let me make a very important point.
We keep being told we can't lower house prices because that will 'hurt boomers'.
But boomers don't sell their houses until they die, so the price is irrelevant.
And even if they do it is to buy a smaller house, which would get cheaper.

Polio was around in my lifetime. Kids in calipers or iron lungs. We welcomed Salk and Sabin. Uncle died of diptheria. Blokes impotent from Mumps.

I met someone in her 70s who'd had a weak leg most of her life after polio, requiring a crutch to walk. She was SO ANGRY about anti-vaxxers, including her parents. Her generation was one of the first to be vaccinated and she'd had a lifetime of wondering 'why me? Why'd I get the dumb parents?'
