Goondeen- An Enlightening Journey
Enlightenment of the mind and the contemporaneous cleansing of it are the wonderful attributes of books. Whether it be fiction or non-fiction, books are our greatest gift in life, a treasure to be handed down from one generation to the next. Books are also an excellent resource to educate your mind, as the writers' experience of their lives' events becomes an invaluable recording of fact for our descendants to gain an insight into what life might have been like during our time on this spinning ball of molten rock, long after the turbulent wind carrying the sands of time has removed our presence from it.

I finally finished the entire (released) Game Changers series. I loved it over all; a couple of the books seemed to move slower and have less relatable characters. I saw a lot of myself scattered across the characters and finally let myself feel those emotions. I can’t wait for the new book in Sept.

Cape May's "ghost tracks" are century-old, rusted railroad remnants buried in the sand at Higbee Beach and Sunset Beach in New Jersey, used for sand mining and World War I munitions, only appearing after major storms reveal them before being reburied again by sand.

@markhamillofficial.bsky.social is right. The District Attorney in each state where the alleged offender committed the offences should commence the steps required for the trial process. The survivors deserve to have their complaints determined by twelve good people.
After latest release country should move on to Epstein trials.

Hegseth listening to Democratic senators? Please. 🙄 Anyone with a D next to their name is the "enemy from within." He's too busy being a bigoted, sexist poster child for prejudice to care about Chinese influence at SpaceX. If it is not MAGA, he is blind to it. 🚀🧧

Had a holiday in #Scarborough, Yorkshire, a decade ago and managed to do some on the spot watercolours and drawings there and in nearby Whitby. Such an inspiring place! I've been recently making winter use of the 100s of photos I took by drawing from them. Here's one in sepia ink of Scarborough Bay.

Trump Is Panicking—and Wants the Justice Department to Be His Revenge Squad

It is fascinating how our tastes for the arts can grow as we grow- until about fifteen months ago, I had never been to the ballet before- perhaps Alfred, Lord Tennyson was right in his poem Ulysses when he wrote the verse, 'Yet all experience is an arch wherethro', Gleams that untravell'd world whose margin fades, Forever and forever when I move.' What I can say is that my introduction to the exquisitely pretty yet delicate world of ballet in December 2024 could not have been any finer than the Queensland Ballet's performance of…

Seldom does an actor have the opportunity to explore the darkest shadows of their own character when they are cast for a role, yet that was the opportunity that fortuitously came my way in August of 1995, when I was cast for the role of Clochet, the flamboyant and vicious Milice interrogator in Jean-Paul Sartre's play, Men Without Shadows. And no, that is not a photograph of me performing on stage.

That is the commendation Michael Robotham received for Storm Child, the fourth book in his Cyrus Haven series. I previously published a newsletter about my discussion with Michael Robotham in 2024, not long after I had launched my first novel, …
