[ANN] MuxDisplay: Using multiplexer panes (tmux, Wezterm) to show graphics
I would like to announce MuxDisplay, which I just submitted for registration. It is a package that I wrote a while ago to fulfill my own needs for displaying graphics (plots, mostly) when working in t...

A quick note on Lindblad operators in composite systems. Something I've been confused about for years. #quantum goerz-research.github.io/2025-09-11_C...

Also contains a useful #JuliaLang implementation for a partial trace function, if you ever need that (surprisingly tricky!)

Normalize v1.0 of software adding no new features. 1.0 comes with an expectation of greater stability than pre-1.0 releases. Debuting new features in that release makes it less stable, not more. Put the new features in an earlier release and let them stabilize *before* the 1.0.

I started using Python 20 years ago, but left and come back to it repeatedly. Every time I picked it back up, the dev experience had swung wildly. Getting caught up, even as an experienced user, was a huge PITA.

I think that's finally going to change with what @tdhopper.com just launched.
👋🏻

In the last 10 years, I’ve had a growing interest in making Python development more effective. I’ve learned that a lot of teams don’t make the best use of the tooling available to use.

This has culminated with writing an ebook on developer tooling I’m excited to share with you.

The talk in Europe is “how to get a seat at the table.” Respectfully, that’s the wrong question. The right question is, “how can Europe build a new table.”

Still slower than X somehow.

It drives me nuts that the notation of the time-ordered exponential implies that it is a function Texp(∙) with an integral as its argument inside 🤬

What is the time-ordered exponential and why you should stop using it | PennyLane Blog
A highly opinionated quick rant about the time-ordered exponential operator, why its notation is misleading, why the time-ordering business is unnecessary and why we should just stop using it.
