Research and education in physics with a focus on quantum computing, communication and sensing with team Qudev (https://qudev.phys.ethz.ch/) at ETH Zurich. Team lead at the ETHZ-PSI Quantum Computing Hub. Director of the Quantum Center at ETHZ.
Do you find it challenging to accurately control the transition frequency of your superconducting #qubit by applying magnetic flux? Frequently, the frequency dependence of the response function of the electronics, the wiring, and the flux-bias circuitry must be compensated for to accurately ..

Five years ago at the @qudev Lab of ETH Zürich we have reported on the first realization of a "Microwave #Quantum Link between Superconducting Circuits Housed in Spatially Separated Cryogenic Systems" coupling #qubits across a distance of 5 meters through a #microwave waveguide.

Looks like I will be taking an appropriate mode of transportation for a #quantum physicist on my flight from #IAD to #ZRH tonight.
Do you know who is advertizing this?

Looks like our Circuit Quantum Electrodynamics (or short Circuit QED) Review (@apsphysics.bsky.social American Physical Society, Rev. Mod. Phys. 93, 025005 – Published 19 May, 2021) got the first 2000 citations. At least that is what Google Scholar claims.

I think I took a photo of a two-level defect, also known as a TLS, at the QEC25 conference on #quantum error correction at Yale and @yaleqi.bsky.social today.
Are there any experts on superconducting circuits out here to confirm or deny?

Complete Self-Testing of a System of Remote Superconducting Qubits
Self-testing protocols enable the certification of quantum systems in a device-independent manner, i.e., without knowledge of the inner workings of the quantum devices under test. Here, we demonstrate...

Enjoying the weekend football/soccer matches at the ASVZ pitches at either the ETH Hoenggberg campus or the Fluntern facility.
Thanks to Claudio for organizing since many years. Is it more than 10 years already? It started out with a mostly ETH Physics crowd originally, but a very mixed group now.
