And as an engineer/manager who’s been in this industry for 20 years, I wish more candidates had humanities degrees in the first place. So much of the job is about communication and working within a complex organization. Something a CS degree teaches you nothing about

Dems should introduce legislation now defunding ICE and CBP operations in Minnesota, so they have to leave the state. One sentence bill. Demand an immediate vote. Maybe refuse to vote for cloture on any funding bills (or other bills) until a vote. Make the GOP Congress break w/ Trump or own it all.

If anyone expects anything to change at this point, it’s not going to happen without changes across the board and that includes Chuck Schumer. We have real Democrats in the Senate. They have the power to change leadership at any time, and that needs to happen immediately.

Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.
