I had dinner with Isiah Whitlock once. I asked him what it was like to be in perhaps the greatest television show and one of the greatest movies of all time. He said, "Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-it." Was such a wonderful person. Heartbroken by this news.

The women who work at Dos Toros are always exceedingly nice to me, but today they put on my favorite music and wouldn't let me pay for lunch, and that's one of the nicest holiday random acts of kindness I've received from people I don't know well.
