As I keep saying in conversations, I've lost all faith—but I'm trying to maintain some hope.

It's tough to see how this ends well, yet I tell myself it still could. What else can you do?

Who destroyed it while he and all of his minions were looking everywhere for it.

Full disclosure: I've liked every song I've ever heard from OK COMPUTER, but I've never heard the whole thing.

I'd love them for the name alone. That area of NJ holds a special place in my heart—my aunt and uncle lived there, and my wife grew up in the next town over.

I thought for sure someone would've gotten to this first, unless they did and I missed it.

🙌

It was such a big deal that we gave my mom her first microwave as an anniversary gift. Now, of course, that seems pretty odd and cringe-worthy, but it made sense to us at the time.

If you're here to praise the armored ruler of Latveria, that's called Von Doomscrolling.

I have absolutely no training and understand these matters on the level of a toddler, but is there anything to suggest this flu season is worse because of damage from COVID?

The excuse is that we need more nuclear and fossil-fuel capacity to power AI, but it's really to help Stephen Miller hold back the cognitive dissonance. His daily existence means constant vigilance against remembering where he comes from—and raising children who'll never know.

I'm not religious, but if I were, that would be the perfect place for me. When I lived in NYC, we'd go there just to feel calmer. Outside, we'd sit on a bench and watch the peacocks and rats pass by, and it worked beautifully, somehow.

I’d say people should read more sci-fi and genre stuff that warns us about such things, but those doing this to us have read it—and didn’t understand it at all.

Agreed. You don't have to put up with anyone telling you what to believe, how to feel, or what to do. And feel free to close the iron door on anyone who tries.

Anything harder than James Taylor or Simon and Garfunkel was that hated "rock," so concerts with my parents were never in the cards. I did bang up my dad's car on the way to see Springsteen during the RIVER tour, though. I even managed to enjoy the show despite knowing I'd have to tell him.

I've followed the exploits of you and your colleagues for years now.

I like this thinking. The Ford Maverick Lobo is a sports pickup, no? Therefore: hello, new FSA wheels; goodbye, plantar fasciitis!

I'm in Chicago, so that's not my district. But if you live in Illinois and are paying attention, you know about the good she's doing.

Tomorrow is the last day of this holiday toy drive for Chicago families impacted by ICE. 41 of the 60 kids who were registered have had a present purchased.

Organizers are hoping every child and family can receive a gift. Let's help them reach their goal!

The #1 movie when you were 10 years old is how your 2026 is going to go.

So...just like 2025.

Good score on the Hendrix book. I haven't read it yet, but I really enjoyed WITCHCRAFT WOR WAYWARD GIRLS.
