FM! has been one of my favorite Vince Staples projects for ages, I’ve been thinking a lot about my own identity and gender lately, and parsing through that through a Vince album has actually been really rewarding.

I’ve always loved East Asian cinema for the way it engages with the non-material, and I think Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is a perfect example of this. I ended up writing about how the film illustrates some key Chinese philosophical concepts.

Wrote something about the purpose of art based on the famous Tarkovsky quote on #FilmTwitter . Also feels like the first time I've relied on stuff I've encountered in philosophy. One of my favourite things I've written so far.

A player at a Premier League club has been accused of sexual assault by four different women and has carried on playing.

We can't name him for legal reasons.

“It’s a systemic failure,” says Nazir Afzal, the former Chief Crown Prosecutor for North West England.

This disheartens me so much. We know Spanish football(and Spanish culture by extension) has a problem with racism. I thought the "progressive" nature of l womens football this would be dealt with differently but it just isn't the case. And no one will speak about it because money.

I don't really get Arsenal going for Watkins. He's someone who I think thrives at running into space in behind. Arsenal don't tend to exploit that space well.

Also, he's undperformed xG pretty consistently barring last season. Idk, feels a bit of an odd fit?
