People need to remember that Trump's administration is not solely to blame for deaths caused by cutting USAID. The administrations from JFK onwards that created, maintained and expanded this system of dependence and exploitation are also to blame.

I love this post because it's conclusive proof that 2 sentences is too much to read for Americans.
The last time New York had a decent mayor was Giuliani, over two decades ago. Say what you will about him (you younger people only know what's become of him after leaving office), but he really did clean up the city. He oversaw the removal of its two biggest eyesores.

It's only binary if you forgot that the government can choose who gets taxed. And that they can choose what to spend money on (I suspect that desire to increase spending rarely included bailing out the criminal organisation Thames Water).
