ACTION ITEM-----ACTION ITEM

Implementation of Schedule F

This is what a lot of us have been worried about.

This allows for many civil service positions to replaced with political appointees. This could include NIH institute directors and even POs.

BUT THERE IS A COMMENT PERIOD...

Congratulations @stanford-chemh.bsky.social institute scholar @pollyfordyce.bsky.social on your election to AAAS!! We are so fortunate to have such a leader among our ranks 🎉
I am honored to be elected into the 2025 class of AAAS Fellows! It is surreal to see my name in the list.
I am very grateful to lab members over the last 10 years & to Aaron Streets & Jason Sello for the chance to co-launch the Next Gen Symposium (1/2).

Small proteins can be more complex than they look!

We know proteins fluctuate between different conformations- but by how much? How does it vary from protein to protein? Can highly stable domains have low stability segments? @ajrferrari.bsky.social experimentally tested >5,000 domains to find out!
