For Valentines, my husband treated me to dinner at the Waybury Inn (known for being the Inn from the Bob Newhart show). The only acceptable ending to this lovely evening is if we wake up in the morning in our old apt. in Queens, realizing the whole past few weeks was a totally ridiculous dream.

Won't be supporting Airbnb any more. Saw this on link on a RISD alum social page, as Joe Gebbia (one of the Airbnb founders) is a RISD alum and is currently serving on the RISD board of Trustees so there is quite a bit of outrage about that.

Won't be supporting Airbnb any more. Saw this on link on a RISD alum social page, as Joe Gebbia (one of the Airbnb founders) is a RISD alum and is currently serving on the RISD board of Trustees so there is quite a bit of outrage about that.

President Donald Trump signed executive orders Saturday, imposing 25% taxes on most imports from two of the country's biggest trading partners: Canada and Mexico. Goods from China will be charged a 10% tax.
The tariffs take effect on Tuesday.

It was a pleasure hosting students from BTV City & Lake Semester this past Monday. Students learned about the historically unsafe working conditions at textile mills and shared their personal experience with labor regulations. We also talked about current child labor issues around the globe.
