This exactly. While I can appreciate strong messaging through their art, at the end of the day they are not to be trusted OR revered as such. Malcolm told us many times and we still don’t listen…
Not only are they not activists, we all should have special interests in making sure they (celebs) are not heralded as activists, and instead, pay more attention to actual activists! He is an artist tho and his art absolutely sent a message

Idk I really enjoy Kendrick’s music but it’s weird how all the ppl on the TL speaking on his moral character and his attention to detail conveniently forget that he still chooses to rub elbows with a man that has a whole violence against women section on wikipedia. Hmkay
