Agreed. Seems the graduation ceremony was secret one.
With the GOP's grip on the House slipping and voters increasingly angry at the White House, Democrats have a rare opening to repair their brand and own the affordability argument.

It’s true. The play was priced and marketed as a Apple Mac on wheels
The more we see of Chinese EV's the more we realise just how shit and out-of-date Tesla really is.

"Ignore that! Look over there! Fake robots and a Mars mission which will never happen! Please believe me, don't tank my fraud!"

This is the era of prosperity that Trump is fashioning MAGA after.
Adelaide Springett was so ashamed of her tattered boots, she took them off for this 1901 photograph.
She was 8 years old and recorded as lodging with her mother at the Salvation Army Shelter in Hanbury St.

Bank on it.
Anyone notice that Speaker Johnson subtly dismissed Congress today so that they won't be in session on Friday?

Hmmm, anything big set to happen on Friday that might upset people?

This explains this obscure “ bonus”.
Sigh…
A $1,776 'Warrior Dividend' won't buy obedience to unlawful orders. Our military answers to the Constitution, not a check from Donald Trump.

Just unreal …
Being the director of the FBI and releasing a couples podcast while a mass shooter is on the loose is a wild choice
lot of awful and insane stuff going on. but if you really want to have a brain bleed this holiday season don't lose sight of Stephen Miller's wife doing a video podcast with the FBI director and his gf about their love life

Yup. A sign I’ve noticed about Trump 2.0. They’re off to the races now.
What's striking about Trump's lies, and those of his apologists, is that they're not even plausible. They don't try to be plausible. As others have noted, that's kind of the point. True authoritarian control and power is telling a blatant and obvious lie, and showing you can get away with it.
Q: Can you explain what's going on with the bandages on Trump's hand?

LEAVITT: We've given you an explanation. The president is literally constantly shaking hands.

Sen. Jack Reed: "This is really outrageous. Mark Kelly is a veteran, he's fought in combat, he's an astronaut. And even was simply repeated what the law is. If a US senator can't do that, then this country is in profound difficulty."

Right of central casting.
BRENNAN: The president said 'prices are coming down tremendously.' But the latest data shows the consumer price index up 3% year over year. What data is he looking at?

HASSETT: He went through the individual items that we've already made a bunch of progress on

as Phillips O'Brien also points out, this plan has been in negotiation for a long time, probably since Trump took office.

Two years ago, Viktor Orbán’s foreign minister Péter Szijjártó visited Nicolás Maduro, backed Venezuela’s pro-Kremlin regime, opposed US sanctions and interference, and even signed gas and oil agreements. I'm curious how fast they try to scrub those photos now as Trump prepares to strike Venezuela.

All of them are a bunch of bums. To man or woman, SO self serving.
Ahem. It's the job of the President to appoint DAs - with advice and consent from the Senate.

The President can ignore that rule - but only once (per district) and only for 120 days.

Do you know who appoints DAs after the 120 day mark has passed?

Pam Bondi doesn't. Because it's the judiciary.

New in PN: ICE is beyond repair

"The paramilitary cosplayers dreaming of civil war as their beer guts spill out below their tactical vests have been remarkably quiet this year. That’s because Trump no longer needs them. He has his own army of thugs, one even more lawless & violent. It’s called ICE"
ICE is out of control and beyond repair
This agency needs to be stripped down to the studs. Dems should start preparing now.
