Chalk River professionals produce medical isotopes and clean energy as well as safely wind down old nuclear sites. Their health benefits haven't meaningfully improved in 25 years and they aren't being paid what they're worth. They're on strike and we should stand with them. #SolidaritywithCRPEG

I've been wanting to up my salad spinner game for a bit. A lot of basics in my supply runs yesterday but also hopefully a salad spinner that will last into retirement.

Sunday, I signed a lease for a house close to the place I currently share with Elizabeth. It’s a sad, considered move, but I think the least bad one. It’s also a relief to sign, that the kids reacted pretty well (they’re starting to plan their rooms) and to be at the point of sharing the news.

Note to Canadian friends: advance voting all this long weekend! If you've made up your mind, you can lock in your vote and then help out on Election Day (or hide in a blanket fort until the results come out, I won't judge too much).
