HHG is kind of unhinged but has such nuggets of deeply hinged that I appreciate. And I probably read it for the first time at the right age.

That intersection is vast and inhospitable (and near a lot of things people might want to walk to!) …I know this isn't the first person killed by a driver there, I hope it can be fixed before another person is struck.
