Five years ago. Let us never forget this happened. A violent insurrection by liars and losers to overturn a free election.

These same vandals have seized power again, remarkably through democratic means. But they won't be around forever—unless we let them.

Overall satisfied with what you put in... but I do question why he put two docs I don't think anyone even watched (former due to airing in Japan, latter on a streaming service most don't even subscribe to).
Personally would have used PBS' Dino Birds and BBC's Human, which more people saw and thus

Closing out the year with some images of the Academy of Natural Sciences's various dinosaur exhibits through the ages. Someone should really write up a proper history of them one of these days.......(details in alt text)

Despite being ill I think this first formation #paleostream of the year turned out pretty good.
The Upper Elliot Formation from the early Jurassic of South Africa is an important piece for our understanding of sauropod evolution but beyond that it's just a really cool assemblage...

Sad news: As of this year, Finland allows the killing of about a fifth of our grey wolf population annually, regardless of whether the particular wolves cause any harm. This on top of harm-based permits and poaching puts our endangered wolf population at risk.

Ok, I'm back with some explanatory notes!

My main dinosaur hall does away with the "random topics in dinosaurs" organization and is mostly chronological (this being the most accessible and relatable way to tell the story of life). Coming from Hintze hall, you enter to the left.

This would be a great assignment for historical geology quiz! Another point I add when covering horse evolution is this all happened mainly in North America. But there horses were extirpated at the end of the last ice age until reintroduced by Europeans. Seems ironic.
