1/ Excited to share our new study with @brumbaugh-lab.bsky.social, out in @natbiotech.nature.com! P-bodies selectively sequester RNAs encoding cell fate regulators, often from the preceding developmental stage. Releasing these RNAs can drive changes in cell identity. 🧵 www.nature.com/articles/s41...

Such a big loss. What an inspiration he was for so many of us
Science has lost a GIANT and the world has lost one of the kindest most inspiring people I had the pleasure of knowing. Just an extraordinary man whose curiosity was infectious and whose dry wit will always be memorable- RIP John

The incidence of ASD in Israel is slightly higher than the rest of the world. There's no Tylenol in Israel.
Just a reminder before the “big announcement” today.

Autism was discovered in 1911 and the modern definition of Autism came in 1943.

Tylenol wasn’t widely used until the 1950s.

Anyone trying to tell you that Tylenol causes Autism isn’t someone that should be taken seriously.

It took Sci Adv 6 months (!) to review and reject our paper. A single (addressable!) review. When we appealed, it took a month to answer that we can appeal🤦. The Editor is concealed. Disgraceful and unprofessional behavior.

There are important papers that show that the authors are lucky
papers that show the authors are hard working
papers that show the authors are serious
papers that show the authors are clever
& papers that show the authors are creative
