Interesting article by Kondratov’s lab.
The circadian clock is not only required for an efficient metabolism and storage of nutrients, it is also required for the preventive effect of calorie restriction on the hepatic steatosis caused by unanticipated fasting.

Delighted to share this new review article discussing the potential bidirectional communication between the liver and the central circadian clock.

The systemic relationship is likely more complex than we thought!

Here’s last night’s story about the impact RFK Jr. is having on public health, and why the rate of diabetes in China is *not* fifty percent. Can you hear us, Robert? Robert, listen to us: you have to stop acting like half of China has diabetes. It’s wrong, and also very weird! youtu.be/8H34jcpEsFs

‘Curiosity-driven research’ led to a recent major medical breakthrough. But it’s under threat
Curiosity-driven research is exactly what it sounds like: research driven by the goal of understanding nature without regard for application.
